629 Calories!


Not much to report. I am trying to squeeze in my work outs at least three days a week. My eating has been okay, not the best not the worst. I still write down everything I eat and calculate the points. It is supper time/dessert time where I have fallen short a few times. The scale is hovering in the same range but honestly I am just happy I am not gaining. In the past, this time of year I pack on the pounds. Come March my body drops weight very easily, so I figure if I can still stay on track and maintain until March I will be in better shape then I have been in the past.

I have been doing 45 minutes on the crazy machine and then hitting the treadmill for some walking/running. I still love it and I am trying to build up to running longer. I really love how I feel after a long cardio session.

My body craves the work outs at the gym but Saturday after work is the only time I usually get in the really long really hard workouts. The weather and driving conditions lately have forced me to do more workout video’s at home, but hey something is better then nothing!

Sooooo I feel amazing today. I have been craving the gym for a few days now but I did not have the time to get there until this morning. I did 45 minutes on the crazy machine and 20 minutes on the treadmill. I ran a total of 6 times for 30 seconds each time. It felt so good. I could have gone longer each time but I really don’t want to have shin splints for two days again, so I stuck to my 30 seconds like a good girl. I burned 535 calories! Whoop whoop!

I have also been craving Chinese food like woah and I was sooo close to getting it last night but thanks to the boy reminding me of how badly I would regret it I had ground turkey tacos instead.  J  

This dang web site hasent allowed me to upload pictures for over a week now. I am not sure if it is the computer I am using or the blogger site here, but I am getting pretty annoyed. I will figure it out asap and have a post of just pictures.

Ice skating!


I had Friday off and it was a nice treat. I wanted to workout in the morning but my legs still hurt so bad from my Jillian Michaels workout,  to the point where I was concerned I had really done some damage. I decided to take one more day of rest to let the legs heal up.

In the afternoon the boy and I went ice skating. I have not been since I was maybe 10yrs old? It was fun. I was so nervous I couldn’t believe it. My legs were shaking and it took a good two minutes to get me away from the wall. When I was a kid I skated all the time, I was a pro. I just couldn’t believe what a baby I was being. BUT once I got going it was a blast. The boy played ice hockey growing up so it brought back a lot of memories for him too.  We skated for at least an hour then headed home to be lazy. After the skating I didn’t feel so bad about not working out because I know I burned some calories on the ice rink.



Today after work I plan on hitting the crazy machine and the bike….maybe some elliptical action as well. I have my food planned for tomorrow’s football game and I am not going off track! I refuse!  I feel great this week health wise and I am so sick of re-setting. I want to keep going forward.

Tomorrow is my weigh in and I am confident I will see a good number that I deserve.

I need a wheelchair


Okay so I did Jillian extreme shed and shred level two and I  1.) Need a wheel chair.  2.) Screamed profanities at her the entire time.  3.) Cant wait to do it again…….someday.

My eating and exercise were off and on the two weeks of the holidays. This week I am back on track, I set a small attainable goal for myself and I am doing very well so far. I have started jogging a little bit on the treadmill at the gym and I have increased my weights when I do my work out videos at home.

I have always been so scared to run on the treadmill because I feel like I am not in full control and I constantly imagine myself flying off the back of it. I have been wanting so badly to start jogging again but the weather outside is, well, winter. I can’t wait till April to start because that is just silly. So I have done it on two separate occasions now and I like it, I just hate that I have gotten shin splints. I iced my shins last night and I can’t tell if it helped, or if the pain in the rest of my legs (From Jillian!)  is just worse then the shin splints.

I have never watched Biggest Loser but since my girl Jill is on it I decided to give it a try. I think it is o.k. I really don’t like that people have to go home. I will probably still watch it occasionally but I like Chris Powell’s extreme makeover weight loss addition so much better.
